Question
Four siblings inherited deceased parents home. Three of four sibling want to sell inherited home. The one sibling currently living in home refuses to compensate others to establish sole ownership. Numerous inquiries have been received to buy property as is and deal with owners who don't want to sell. How do I checkout the validity of these buyers for the state of north carolina?

Answer
Hi, Good question,
My suggestion is hire a qualified REALTOR, in your area and have them pre qualify the perspective buyers. It will be difficult to 100% check the validity, their Offer and DD fee and deposit will tell a lot about them. My suggest is seek very good professional help.

With (1) person holding out, this will be your bigger issue. What you need to do is get a idea of current market value, fee simple.

Good luck

My best to you .
