Question
Hello,

After the escrow closed, I want to add my two son to the house's grand deed title, my questions is:

How will this work?  Is it a easy or complicated process?  Any disadvantages?

Does it cost extra?  If so, about how much to add two more person on the title?

I located in California.

Thank you very much for your time and help, I really do appreciate it.

Answer
You can add your sons to title via a quit claim deed.  An escrow company can usually assist you with this.  Once the deed has been correctly filled out it needs to be recorded.  The only charges should be whatever the escrow company charges for their assistance and a small recording fee.

I hope this helps and good luck.
