Question
Dear Sir,

I am staying in a small town of India, there are these big apartments coming up in our town, presently I am staying in a bungalow owned by myself.

There is some kind of attraction towards these new buildings becuase of good structure and facilities, I want to know exactly what would be the benefits of staying over a flat or a multi-storeyed building over a bungalow. The pros and cons of both.

I would be waiting for your kind response.

Regards,

Ankit Agrawal.

Answer
Dear Ankit,

Thank you for your question.

The benefits of living in the new building as opposed to your bungalow can be many.

What is the condition and location of your bungalow?  How does it differ from the new apartments being built?  Do the new apartments offer more benefits and features to the people who will live there?  Such as security, parking, air condtioning, sports facilities?

You must then measure the benefits and features of both properties against the cost of ownership to decide which is better for you.

Hope that helps you.

There are many questions buyers and sellers have about the process of buying or selling a home that they are afraid to ask or that might seem too simple to ask. For instance: in a house, why do some doors open in and some doors open out?
