Question
When buying from a family member,in Texas by the way,how do you go about drawing up the papers and who do you go to for this? Title Company,Lawyer or County? What's the cheapest legal way? We're in the process of having it surveyed now.Basically mom's downsizing and we're buying a portion of the property.Any info appreciated. It's in Parker County.

Answer
I would go into First American Title on Palo Pinto street and ask them to do it for you. They are across the street from Brookshires. Just remember them when it is time to sell. They can handle the paperwork for you. Tell them Dottie sent you from Worthington Realty.
