I'm thinking of buying a manufactured home in South Bay area of LA county.  However, I'm finding it difficult to find information on lot rent at various parks in the area.  Do you know of any website or other source of information where I could compare lot rents of various parks?  I am under 55 and would only qualify to buy a MH in family parks.  If you could also point me to MH parks in So. Calif (not necessarily in the South Bay) that are resident-owned, I would also appreciate the information.

First I need to tell you that this is a very "low tech." world...parks do not have websites, or even a computer in the office, probably!  My job is to frequent these parks, looking for leads and listings.  Consequently I have most of the info you are looking for in my head.  There are a lot of parks that you are probably not even aware of.
VERY few self owned places...and mostly "trailer parks types"...there are a couple that are in the process of trying to convert, but this is a lengthy process.
