I was just wondering if you would know the Canadian and U.S. tax implications from buying property in Texas when you are not an American.

Mike--None of the "Experts" here can answer your question! You need to check this out with a CPA or Certified Financial Counselor in the State of Texas with regard to U.S. & State Tax implications of your purchase of property there! A Canadian Certified Public Accountant or Financial Consultant can tell you what Canadian Tax burdens you may take on by buying property in the US--specifically Texas!
