Buying or Selling a Home/Cancelling a contract selling a home

Question
I signed a contract in the state of MO to sell my home. The original closing date was July7th hich was moved to August 7th due to some issues the buyers were having. Due to things coming up I am wondering if I can cancel this contract.

Answer
If youi signed any amendments, changes and extensions, and as long as the buyers will want to buy the house, Lisa, then you are obligated. I would suggest that you take your transaction to a REAL ESTATE attorney to see if MO has any laws that would permit you to cancel the transaction.

I wish you well
