Question
What does the description "Garden Style" condominiums indicate?

Answer
HI Valerie,

Thank you for your question.

Garden style condo is a description for usually 2 level buildings with usually common entry halls shared by 2 to 8 units with doors from the common entry hall. The units are surrounded by lawns, gardens, trees and have access to or use of the gardens for BBQ, sunning, relaxation, etc.

In this area of New York the buildings are commonly brick and built in the 1950's and 1960's.

Hope this answers your question.

I am able to answer questions related to buying or selling residential real estate in New York. There are many questions buyers and sellers have about the process of buying or selling a home that they are afraid to ask or that might seem too simple to ask. For instance: in a house, why do some doors open in and some doors open out?
