Question
Im currently selling timeshare for Westgate Resorts in Orlando and expect to be liscenced in a month or 2.  Although potentially lucrative, Im not sure this is my long term career path.  Whats your opinion on getting in with one of the major developers ?(Lennar is currently hiring, for example)  Can you give me some pro's and cons as to this route, and a general sense of income expectation (Im not sure hires on a commission basis and who offers salaries, etc.)  Any information would be helpful.  Be Excellent,  Adam

Answer
I have no interest in time shares, Adam. If you BELIEVE in them, then proceed. You gotta believe in what you sell. Any business that has to bribe you to attend high pressure sales pitches obviously needs a second thought. I do wish you well. There are so many ways to make money in real estate. By the way, time shares ARE NOT real estate, according to the IRS.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot.
