Question
I asked you a question about 6 weeks ago and you gave me great advice.
I sold my house so fast it made my head spin.
I hope you keep a file of questions.
I have decided to pay my 'former' friend $5K. He is very upset over my selling the house and verbal abused me for 30 mins. via long distance.
I did consult 2 lawyer, no charge first consultation, and both said he had no legal 'leg to stand on'. Just wait until and if you get papers from a lawyer that he is suing you.
I closed on the May 25th, got my proceeds and moved into an apt.

Thank you so much for giving me this update! I had wondered and worried about what was going to happen. I think you are indeed "home free" in more ways than one, and you probably will not hear from your "friend" again. I am sorry that you had to put up with verbal abuse, but it was better than what could have gone on. I hope, and don't think, that you will hear from this person again.
