Question
I, a Japanese living in Tokyo, am reading MDC Holdings' anuual report (2005) and it says: Active Subdivisions at Year-End was 292. What this "Active Subdivisions" means? I have emailed this question to MDC, but no reply. Thank you.
Dear Toshio,
This really isn't something within my expertise but I would guess that that is the number of subdivisions that are still available for purchase. My guess is that once they are fully sold out they are no longer active....but this is just a guess.
