Hi my husband and i are interested in buying a home but i would like to know what kind of help is out there for buying a home since we have 3 small children and one income which isn't very high. I was wondering if you know any types of grants that are out there. Thank you, Anne

Thanks for your question.
You can start with your local HUD office, Housing and Urban Development.
Also try Habitat for Humanity.
Then get yourself a mortgage preapproval, toll free, 888-421-3812.
Some town in states (Iowa, North Dakota, Nebraska) in the midwest are giving away land and offering tax breaks as incentives for people to move to their communities.
That is a great opportunity!
