Question
Michael, I have lost the title to a mobile home I own here in California and I would like to sell it. What agency would I approach to get it replaced... and what is the process when selling a mobile and transferring title?
Hi Greg...no big deal, just don't start the process, as it gets "bogged down" in Sacramento. HCD is the agency you will contact...they have a website.
Are you near the South Bay? We sell at no charge to the seller...no anything....buyer pays all fees.
Escrow can replace the title at the same time that they transfer to the new owner. Easy, especially if you have the registration. Call me if you need help..."~ M
