Buying or Selling a Home/Mobile home worth selling

Question
My mother wants to give me a manufactured home in a park in
Riverside County (fairly nice park, fairly nice area). The home is
so old it can't be financed. I can't decide whether it's worth my
time to try selling it, or to have her give it to someone else. It's
1400 square feet and in fair to poor condition. What are the
potential pitfalls for me as an absentee seller?

Thanks in advance

Answer
Hi Bambi....my suggestion would to find a new home dealer....they will probably pay you for the priviledge of putting a NEW home on that space.  We do this here in the South Bay, and wish your home was closer.....of course selling through a dealer would be another option. Check with the park management.  Perhaps they can help you to  determine value...let me know if you need anything else.
