Hi Dottie,

Can you tell me what "option pending" means? Also, i'm interested in investing in the Houston area.  Who do i talk to about best locations, bad locations, key freeway access locations, etc.

Dear Wayne:
In Texas, the "option pending" period is a short time after the contract is pending that the buyer can back out for a fee. That is usually about 3-10 days.
