Buying or Selling a Home/Paint

Question
We have removed wall hangings and brackets from our walls
inpreparing for sale and our move.  What are we required to do to
repair the walls where screws have been removed.  We have
spackled and painted but the areas in question are sill noticeeable.

Answer
If the areas in question can take sanding, then do it. Then repaint. That's all you can do.

For future reference, you might try dabbing a littel Gleam toothpaste on your fingertip and smooth it over the hole. Works for me for many moves.

I wish you well, Mark.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
