Buying or Selling a Home/Pre-foreclosure

Question
How do people take advantage of pre-foreclosures?
thanks,
Scott

Answer
It's not easy, Scott. People who are in default (pre-foreclosure) are not happy people and if you try to contact them you will get a door or two slammed in your face. If you send a solicitation, it'll be tossed . . . just like all the others they received. You should know the complete forclosure process so that you can know what it is all about if you are to send them info "on how they can avoid foreclosure." Yes, that's how you should come at them, like you want to help them to escape foreclosure. (Hey, I told you it is not easy.) This really takes a whole seminar or a book to do this right. I obviously do not have the space or time to do it here. I recommend you buy or borrow a book on the subject of foreclosures. Try Amazon.com. I do wish you well.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
