Buying or Selling a Home/Real estate licenses

Question
From the comments of others, and your note of being in
the "Southeast," I'm assuming you are a licensed realtor in
North Carolina. Can you tell me if NC has reciprocity with
the District of Columbia in regards to real estate licensing?
Any input would be helpful. Thank you.

Answer
Hi Gary,

Thanks for writing All Experts.

I'm sorry, but I am not familiar with North Carolina's reciprocity law (I work in SC).

I looked up the North Carolina Real Estate Commission for you, and here are some contact numbers and addresses for you:

NC Real Estate Commission web site:   http://www.ncrec.state.nc.us/default.asp

Mailing Address:
North Carolina Real Estate Commission
P.O. Box 17100
Raleigh, NC 27619-7100

Their main telephone number is (919) 875-3700, and the department you need to connect with for reciprocity questions is the Licensing section, extension 6.

If you prefer to email them, the address for the Licensing section is educ@ncrec.state.nc.us

Good luck to you, and write again if you have additional questions.

Regards,

Elizabeth Narr
