Question
Reporting Agent to PA Real Estate Commission

I am going to report the agent we discussed to our state's real estate commission, and have drafted a letter in that regard.  Since you provided such excellent advice, I was hoping that you would review it and provide me with any additional suggestions.  The letter is slightly larger then AllExperts.com's 5,000 character limit.  I would appreciate it if you would send me your email so I could benefit from your added comments

Answer
Hi Steven,

My email address is liznarr@sc.rr.com

I'm glad to know that you are reporting this unethical agent.  If he is a member of a Realtor association, you can file a Grievance against him, also.  There is an upfront fee of approximately $200, but if you prevail, this amount would be refunded to you.

Realtor Associations have smaller teeth than the Real Estate Commission in that they can only fine or sanction a Realtor member.  The Real Estate Commission can suspend or revoke a license, in addition to assessing fines.  The Grievance procedure can be drawn out and lengthy, but this is another avenue you could pursue.
