Experience Anyone who is in this business and who dedicates oneself to professionalism has continued to take classes and along with it,additional credentials, awards and honors. I can list a host of them, but my greatest accomplishments happen to be those of getting first time buyers (who didn't think they could afford to buy a home)into a home of their dreams. The look on their faces when I hand over the keys is worth all of the hard work.
Question Im enquiring about selling my parents property in Florida from the UK but dont know how to go about it. What would be the advised process. There are so many agents I don't know who to approach.
Thanks
Answer Hello;
The easiest thing to do would be to look up a couple of large companies that are in the same area as your Parents' property. You can look them up online by checking for real estate in Florida. Or, you can go to ww.realtor.com and look up properties for sale in your parents' neighborhood. Then check to see who is selling those and go to their website. Check on their marketing and then contact them to discuss listing your parents' property. Quite a bit can be accomplished via email. Most online agents are very responsive. (If you don't get a quick response from an agent, this isn't the one to choose.) Ask lots of questions including what their fees will be and how they will market the property. Also, get an idea of the average time on market and how much like properties have sold for most recently. Also make sure you have a clear understanding how long your listing agreement is, what the agent's duties are, and how often they will be in touch with you to report on activity.
I hope that this helps.
Sincerely,
Jessica Bryan
