how do i find out where the cheapest place to buy a home, and a vaction home would be in the state of washington

Dear Robin;
There are several Internet resources that can help you with this.  You can do a search of homes in Washington and then put in the lowest to highest price search.  You will find everything posted there.  One of the best sites (all-inclusive) is www.realtor.com.  The only listings it does not include would be for sale by owner homes.  For that you will have to visit another website: Forsalebyowner.com.  Once you find a few areas that interest you, try calling a Realtor in that area and getting more information on costs from a professional.  Most Realtors do not cover the entire state but will certainly have sales statistics to help you decide on areas.
