Buying or Selling a Home/buying a mobile home

Question
I recently began looking for a used mobile home and I wanted to know what questions I need to ask the seller about the home and what do I as a buyer need to look for that could be problematic in the future

Answer
Hi Krissa,
Smart girl...you need to first get a home inspection.  Here in Cal. you can get one for about $ 175-250.  This is $$ well spent, as this person will climb on the roof, underneath...look for health and safety issues.  You will only be assured of the homes condition from a 3rd, unbiased party....sellers have been known to "forget to tell some things".  Then based upon the findings, you can make an intelligent offer.  Roof and furnace are probably the most expensive to replace.
If you want more info, or want me to look for repos in your area, I may be able to send you to an appropriate website....needs to be near a fairly large city.  If you do, tell me exactly what you are looking for...price, space rent, bedrooms, etc....Good luck, hope I helped..."~ M
