Question
dick,

I want to know whether or not I can sell my share of deeded trust of a house my brother and I own.  It was willed to me by my deceased father about 4 years ago.  We have a loan on the house, and I want out of it and wondered if this is possible.  I just want to sell my part (1/2)and wonder the possibliities.  Thanks

Answer
Sure. It would be a good idea to go to the attorney who put the trust together and have him insert the name to whom you're selling your interest. Or have another trust-wise attorney put it together for you. Simple as all that.

I do wish you well.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
