Question
My fiance and I are looking to buy our first home in michigan.
We are looking for grants or assistance in buying our house, as of right now our combined income is less than 25,000, we would really like to get on our feet, and we need some guidance, can you help us
PS we have some places in mind
thank you

Answer
Most every state has a first-time buyer program, Shawn. Merely stop in a real estate office and talk to a very knowledgeable Realtor. That person should know. Do not bother with new Realtors. Ask for the broker/manager of the office. He/she will assign you to the person who will be able to help you. Otherwise, look up a FHA program that the state may have.

I do wish you well, Shawn.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
