Hello Douglas,I sign a contract to purchase a property at time of finish,the verbal agreement was the size will be 1317,a fewsdays ago I looked at the property and realize the size was too small so I hire a contractor to measure the e house,Iwas right the house is much smaller.The builder did not write size in the contract.What is my legal rights as a buyer.I still have the contract,did not submit it to the bank as yet.Shavon

Hi, I found your question in the question pool.  
Verbal agreements mean nothing in real estate.  Sorry.  Only a written agreement is a binding contract.  This is why it is always best to work with a real estate agent.  They work for you and not the builder.  They look out for you and make sure you get the best deal and what you want.  A builder is only looking out for him, not you.  
Talk to a real estate attorney to see if there is anything you can do.
