Hi Sue,
I live in the Long Beach area and currently have a home warranty with American Home Shield.  My husband would like to continue with a policy since we own a home over 50 years old, however we would like to consider some other home warranty companies.  Are there any that you would recommend or that you know have a good reputation?  Thank you.

Dear Lisa,

There are quite a few companies that offer home warrantee programs.  My impression is that they offer similar services and all are comparable in their level of service.  I am unable to recommend one over the other.  I would suggest that you walk into any decent sized real estate office in your area and they should be able to give you brochures for all of them.  These brochures would also include their pricing so you can compare.
