Question
please help i am trying to sell my villa in Florida and am running out of time, do you have any advice on how to make a quick sale without losing too much money
Dear Alison;
I suggest that you list the home with a very experienced broker who knows and understands the market in your area. The broker will advise you of the things you will need to do to make your home stand out among the others. Price is not always the only factor. Often colors, decorating and presentation are influential in getting your home sold quickly. Make your home look clean, uncluttered and fresh. Fix anything that needs repair and give a touch up coat of paint to areas that need it. Make sure your home is free of smudges, stains, and dirt. An extra set of eyes and the use of a home stager is often helpful. Your agent will undoubtedly have the names of several people who 'stage' homes professionally to ready them for a quick sale.
