Question
i am a single male 36 first time buyer who wants to know the following. i have been considering buying a townhouse for around 35K but the property taxes are a thousand a year plus the assessment is about one thousand a year as well. would i come out cheaper with a single wide trailer? i am in the suburbs of chicago. either way it would be a one bedroom one bath. dont care about location or area just the price. please respond.

Answer
Hi...well, there is really no doubt about it..."real property" is the best investment.  $35K??...the only thing I've seen this cheap would be a garage!  Go for it.
Taxes are a write off, and you will probably be paying a monthly space rent if you go with the mobile home, so hope that answers your question...write back if you need anything..."~ M
