Question
hello dick, my father passed away. in his trust it states that i am vested in his estate. what does this exactly mean?  what are my next steps in dealing with this?  do i sign papers?  in a living trust, can my father seal documents for no one to see until he passes away? thankyou for your time and expertise and God bless you, jon

Answer
You are not exactly asking a real estate question, Jon. You are asking an estate question. You should ask an attorney who specializes in estates and probates. He/she will be able to answer those questions for you.

I do wish you well.

Expertise

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot. Also, ask about my hard-copy newsletter, The Landed Gentry. It can also be sent to you via PDF.
