Hi, my fiance and I are trying to sell our 1974 Krepf mobile home.  It is located in the Buffalo NY area and has been up for sale for almost a year.  We really would like to sell it badly, as we have another place to live already.  What other option do we have in selling besides our mobile home park or a regular real estate agent.  What about selling it to construction companies or something like that.  Please help

Hi Nancy....well, first let me apologize for the delay in answering you.
Your best bet is to find a mobile home dealer to sell it for you, unless you own the land.  Real estate brokers are NOT the best choice in selling mobile homes, at least in my state.  You can have them provide comp. sales reports for you, which will tell you what homes like yours have sold for in the park.  Cut a deal with them for a net amount...meaning that you get a certain amount, and they can get whatever, and buyer pays ALL fees!
The cost of moving a home almost makes it prohibitive to do so. Wish you the best, and feel free to write again if you are unclear, or need more info.

PS  If it's in bad shape, and you just want to bail-out..try selling it to a new home dealer, (park can help w/info) and let them put a new one there...."~ M
