Question
I want to sell my Coop apt by my self, with out going through a broker.  What kind of suggestions do yo have for releasing my apt to the market and have, and for the open house.

Also what are the most common problems i would encounter from a seller's point of view?

thanks,

Answer
Hi,

Thanks for your question.

A survey by the National Association of Realtors finds that Realtors sell properties for 27% more than do owners selling on their own.

You should find a good Realtor to represent you in the market place.  That will help you get the best possible price for your coop.

If you need a referral please let me know.

Thank you.

I am able to answer questions related to buying or selling residential real estate in New York. There are many questions buyers and sellers have about the process of buying or selling a home that they are afraid to ask or that might seem too simple to ask. For instance: in a house, why do some doors open in and some doors open out?
