Buying or Selling a Home/selling my villa

Question
Hi there i live in the UK and am trying to sell my villa in Florida, I realise that the market in America is very poor at the moment but have to sell as i can no longer afford to keep the property, I now know that i was initially ill advised and paid to much i am trying to minimise my losses when selling but havent even had any interest in 6 months do you think it could be the realtor i am using or the price or a combination of both

Answer
It might be both, Alison. If you would be so kind as to describe what your villa is all about, I might be able to add to my reply. Is it attached (meaning connected to someone else's property like a condo)? Is it detached (a property not attached to any other property)? In my dictionary, villa is described as "a country residence or estate; any imposing or pretentious residence, especially in the country or suburbs maintained as a retreat; British definition: a detached or semi-detached dwelling house, usually suburban."

With more than 41 years as a real estate broker, I can solve most any problem presented. If I can`t, I do my research. Problems with mortgages, trust deeds, foreclosures, odd ways of conveying titles. Most any good Realtor can answer questions satisfactorily, but I answer questions that most cannot.
