Question
I live in New York.  I have no money and my credit is poor. I want to buy and sell houses but I don't know where to start can you please help me?

Answer
Hi Jimmy,

Thanks for your question.

First try calling a mortgage broker to find out what if any mortgage you are qualified for.

Based on the current market and your situation you should probably try buying properties no one else wants to buy.  The owners may be willing to hold the mortgage note.  Then you can rehabilitate them and re sell them for a profit.

I am able to answer questions related to buying or selling residential real estate in New York. There are many questions buyers and sellers have about the process of buying or selling a home that they are afraid to ask or that might seem too simple to ask. For instance: in a house, why do some doors open in and some doors open out?
