Question
We are getting ready to sell our home in the next year. It is about 20 years old and are going to replace the windows as they 'REALLY" need it.
Do quality aluminum or vinyl windows help a home sell better or would it be better to just put in builder grade windows? Also is it important to do double hung windows or would single hung windows suffice? We are in Texas.

Also any other tips you may have on helping our home to sell would be wonderful.

If you are planning on selling within the next year, I owuld go with some middle of the road good windows. Some that are energy efficient and not the most expensive ones out there. Save the money fo the new house!
