Answer Replica and counterfeit handbags are absolutely not allowed on eBay. eBay is very serious about counterfeit items being sold on their site. Granted, counterfeits appear, and eBay has a tough job policing millions of listings. If you are caught selling counterfeit items, your store can be shut down and you can be removed as a seller.
If the item is not an actual branded product, for example a Coach purse, do not compare your item to the branded product. You may not use phrases like, "Designer handbag like Coach," or, "Women's Wool Blazer compare to Burberry." This is key word spamming and your listing can be removed.
Always verify an item's authenticity before listing it. If you aren't sure, don't list it. The consequences are not worth the few dollars you might make completing the sale. Furthermore, the buyer may realize the item is counterfeit once he receives the item, and report you or demand his money back.
Counterfeit merchandise funds all kinds of illegal activity such as terrorism, gangs, drug trafficking, prostitution, and organized crime. When you buy a counterfeit item, your money isn't just going to support a local vendor or small business owner, your money is funding illegal activities.
