Question
so i found this car they guy is stationed in portugal says he will ship the car to my door step and no exchange of funds will be made until i inspect the car blah blah blah i have emails how do i kno this is not a scam many people have writen good things about this guy also

Answer
Yes, it's a scam. Keep in mind, that there is no car.

What happens is that the guy will supposedly send off the car, and then after a bit, you will get a message from some 'official' office (IRS, import station, or maybe hte office of some undersecretary of importing) seeking payment of 'import fees', 'taxes' or some other such monies which must be paid by the recipient or the car stays at the dock.  You think that the car is in the states, so you send off the money....never to see the money or the car again.

If you want, you can play along until such time as they ask for money, but believe me, it is a scam and there is no car.

Expertise

I`ve been involved with Ebay practically since it`s inception. I`ve spent a lot of free time in helping people find the answer to problems as well as selling techniquest on the Ebay system. I`m more than comfortable with the Ebay system, it`s rules and policies and the why`s and wherefores of it`s day to day operation and the operations of both a seller and buyer.

Experience

Been a consistent seller on Ebay since 1997 and have been regarded as a 'source' for information on Ebay itself.
(Under Expertiese, it should be techniques, not techniquest...sorry bout that....)
