Buying & Selling Thru Ebay & Other Auctions/Multiple Ebay ID's

Question
I have two different eBay ID's. One is an individual account and the other is a business account. I set the individual account up as a seller account about a week ago and the other one has been a seller account for the last 2+ years. Both accounts have my name on them but the email addresses are different and the PayPal accounts are different. One is a Premiere account and the other is a Business account. Both PayPal accounts are verified. The phone number for each account is the same.

What I'd like to know is am I doing anything wrong as far as having multiple seller accounts, using the same phone number for both accounts, having my name on both accounts, etc?

Answer
As far as I can tell, (and I took the time to search on Ebay's help system) there is nothing wrong with having multiple accounts so long as the contact information for both is true and accurate.

There is a policy in place about creating a new account after you have been kicked off Ebay, but I don't think that applies in this case.

So, as long as both accounts are up to date, not breaking any rules on their own, then it would appear you are fine.

Expertise

I`ve been involved with Ebay practically since it`s inception. I`ve spent a lot of free time in helping people find the answer to problems as well as selling techniquest on the Ebay system. I`m more than comfortable with the Ebay system, it`s rules and policies and the why`s and wherefores of it`s day to day operation and the operations of both a seller and buyer.

Experience

Been a consistent seller on Ebay since 1997 and have been regarded as a 'source' for information on Ebay itself.
(Under Expertiese, it should be techniques, not techniquest...sorry bout that....)
