Hello,
I want to sell my Pokemon Ruby & Sapphire which are being sold as cartridge only. I was wondering if I did sell them, to ship them in envelopes. Is it safe? I don't know how to ship with ups.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was called out of town unexpectedly.  

As to your question, as a Seller, you are responsible to get the item into the hands of the buyer in teh condition you sold it.  Envelopes can be bent, folded, creased.  

You would do better to put them into a box.  The USPS has what they call a "Video" box...approximately the size of a VHS Tape...which would be perfect.  Wrap the card in plastic wrap, and then sadwich it between two small pieces of cardboard. Then suspend this in the Video Box using styrofoam peanuts or other lightweight packing material. The Box cannot be bent as easily and will ensure that the item gets to it's destination in best possible condition.
