Help me with ebay transaction, what do I do?
I received some instylers as a gift for christmas. didn't want them so I sold them on ebay.
I never used them.
Woman purchased the 2 instylers for $91

She just emailed me and said that one of them was broken and wants a refund.
in my ebay thing I said sold as is and no refunds.

plus I already spent the money on my college textbook.
What do I do??

Was the item that you sold already broken and if it was, was it mentioned in your ad along with a picture of your item. If your confident that you sold her good items that weren't damaged in any way, then I would fight it. If one of them was broken or damage then this should be mentioned in your ad. You did mentioned that you were selling item "as is" with no refunds, so she should have emailed you before she bought the item and ask any questions that she may have; of course you should always mention that in your item description that the item you are bidding on is damaged or broken and that you are selling "as is" with no refunds, This way you protect yourself from someone wanting a refund, and if they buy the item, just tell them you put it in your item description. She's probably going to leave negative feedback if you don't issue her a refund, so their is nothing you can do about that, perhaps you can issue her a partial refund because one of them still works. If she tries to file a dispute with paypal feel free to let me know and I can give you the steps with the complaint process.
