Question
I am not at all sure about how to sell on Ebay but I have several things I would like to sell. Can you set your on starting place for bids? Who pays for shipping and handling? If I am not satisfied with the highest bid can I extend the time or is it final when the time is up? I also just set up a pay pal and know nothing about it or how I can accept payments only through pay pal. I'm sorry I'm so clueless about this but would really love to learn. Any information would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time.

Answer
I would be happy to answer all your Ebay questions. Yes, you can set the starting price to what ever you want, after all your the one selling it. The buyer pays for shipping. You can ether way out the item your selling and go to the post office website to see how much it costs to ship or look up your item and see what other people are charging for shipping. Their is also an option that says free shipping, which means you pay for shipping, but you don't have to do this, as a matter of fact, 90% of the time, the buyer pays for shipping. I don't think their is an option to extend the auction once it is listed. Their is an option which allows you to set a reserve price for the item, so you don't have to sell the item if it doesn't meet the reserve price. It is recommended that you have a paypal account because 90% of people use paypal to make payments, so you could lose potential buyers if you don't have a paypal account. You can transfer money from Paypal account to bank account. You can also get a free paypal debit card, and withdrawal the money right away instead of waiting 3-4 days to have it transferred to your account. If you have any more questions feel free to ask.
