Question
Hey there!
I won an item on ebay about 3 days ago.I was supposed to send out the money to the seller yesterday, but I accidentally deleted the email that ebay had sent me with the seller's address on it,Iv contacted the seller but havent got an answer yet, what do I do???

Answer
There are a few things you can do depending on your email settings and your seller.

First, let's examine your email.  Most all web email providers (like Yahoo, Hotmail and Gmail, etc) as well as Email programs (Outlook, Thunderbird, Pegasus, etc) provide a special folder for deleted mail. Some call this folder "Deleted Items" others call it "Trash" or "Recycle Bin".   It would be very easy to open your email, go to this folder and find your deleted mail and get the information you need.  I would check there first.

Second, Since you DO have a transaction with this seller, you can get the seller's phone number from Ebay.  On the Ebay.com main page, in the upper right corner you will find ADVANCED SEARCH just below the regular search.  Click this link.  Then look down the left side for "Find Contact Information". Click this link.  Here you can enter the Seller's Ebay ID and the number of the transaction and get the seller's phone number to call them and ask for the address again.  (In case you don't have it available, you can use the MyEbay Section of Ebay to find the auction on-line and get  both the transaction number and the Seller's Ebay Name.)

Lastly, If you are unable to find the information this way, you may want to just wait for the seller.  Now, beleive it or not, there are people who only check their mail every other day or two days.  They are not like me, where I check my email several times a day.  So, give it another day or two before you panic.

I hope this has helped.

Expertise

I`ve been involved with Ebay practically since it`s inception. I`ve spent a lot of free time in helping people find the answer to problems as well as selling techniquest on the Ebay system. I`m more than comfortable with the Ebay system, it`s rules and policies and the why`s and wherefores of it`s day to day operation and the operations of both a seller and buyer.

Experience

Been a consistent seller on Ebay since 1997 and have been regarded as a 'source' for information on Ebay itself.
(Under Expertiese, it should be techniques, not techniquest...sorry bout that....)
