Buying & Selling Thru Ebay & Other Auctions/Expenses

Question
One more question. I've not heard much of auction sites other than ebay. Do they have a competitor that one could turn to in the case that ebay becomes too pricy?

Answer
There are several auction sites out there, including Yahoo Auctions (http://auctions.yahoo.com)  The problem is that none of them has achieved the notoriety nor the size of Ebay.  Some people have luck with these other sites, but the success is marginal at best.

In addition, many sites which are trying to copy Ebay allow listings for free, which brings out a lot of junk, as well as a lot of deadbeat bidders.  (A deadbeat bidder is someone who will bid up your auctoin with no intention of paying.) I've listed and sold many items on Yahoo.  Not a one of them was ever paid for.

Expertise

I`ve been involved with Ebay practically since it`s inception. I`ve spent a lot of free time in helping people find the answer to problems as well as selling techniquest on the Ebay system. I`m more than comfortable with the Ebay system, it`s rules and policies and the why`s and wherefores of it`s day to day operation and the operations of both a seller and buyer.

Experience

Been a consistent seller on Ebay since 1997 and have been regarded as a 'source' for information on Ebay itself.
(Under Expertiese, it should be techniques, not techniquest...sorry bout that....)
