Buying & Selling Thru Ebay & Other Auctions/eBay account suspension

Question
Hi again,
With reference to your comments:

<By following the steps outlined in the forms you've already received is <the only way to get your account reinstated.
OK, I'll be faxing the form to eBay tomorrow.

<Unfortunately, the VERO program has very little visibility in the Ebay <community.  You don't even know that you've listed a protected brand <until the auction is pulled.  However, the way Vero works is that you're <usually warned once and then suspended.
Not to know what's good to post and what's not, a weird dilemma. You have to wait till it's pulled or not in order to know that. That's quite strange and illogic, isn't it? I did have a couple of items removed recently (2 sets of fridge magnets, $4.00 each!), and eventually I didn't post them again. So how come they ban my account all of the clear blue sky now?

<Follow the instructions and check your mail carefully.  I know it's hard <when you have 100 junk emails a day, but it is important.  And you have <just learned how important.
I have my mail folders and their rules all set up, and I'm an obsessive and careful email reader, there's no way I could have deleted it accidentally.
Then what about all these comments from users that experienced the same thing detailed in all these forums and message boards? All I want is my account back, it was suspended without a single explanation. Do you think it can be reinstated after faxing them the form? Thanks again for your priceless help!

Cheers,
Maria

Marv< Maria, it's NOT out of the clear blue sky.  Read what you wrote to me. "I did have a couple of items removed recently" This means that they closed a couple of auctions.  WHen they do that they send you a notice. They always send the notice, so regardless of how you have your folders and rules set up, it was sent. You're responsible for making sure that the email doesn't go to the wrong folder.   But regardless, it does mean you were warned.

VERO makes no sense whatsoever at times.  No one knows which companies are on the list, some people continue to list Vero items and beleive it or not, the only way Ebay finds out is when someone turns you in!  This means another Ebay member who knows that your were selling a Vero item (most likely another banned member, or employee of the Vero Brand) turned you in.  Nothing to get upset over, just take note that some brands will do this and others will not.

I have no idea what kind of hoops or activities they will require of you, but I know that people DO get their accounts back.

I wish you all the best.

Expertise

I`ve been involved with Ebay practically since it`s inception. I`ve spent a lot of free time in helping people find the answer to problems as well as selling techniquest on the Ebay system. I`m more than comfortable with the Ebay system, it`s rules and policies and the why`s and wherefores of it`s day to day operation and the operations of both a seller and buyer.

Experience

Been a consistent seller on Ebay since 1997 and have been regarded as a 'source' for information on Ebay itself.
(Under Expertiese, it should be techniques, not techniquest...sorry bout that....)
