Buying & Selling Thru Ebay & Other Auctions/selling my knowledge on ebay

QuestionHello Marvinator,
I have a question that is probably a little different from what you are used to. I am also an "allexpert" under the catagory of moving furniture. I have been connected with this industry for nearly 40 years. I have answered hundreds of questions in my catagory pertaining to anything "moving furniture" related. My question is how can I take my knowledge and sell it on Ebay. Is there a way I could charge people for questions at a set price. I know people do E-BOOKS and sell them but I don't have a clue how to get started with that. There must be some way that know-how and make money.
Hope you got some ideas
Harry
AnswerThis is a question I get a lot. The options are to find a way to answer questions at a set price per question or to write an "Ebook". The first option will chase people away. Consider the problems Microsoft had when they tried to sell their help at a price per minute. They nearly lost thier shirts!
So, the best option of the two would be to write a book or pamphlet, or a series of "Frequently Asked Questions" (FAQ) and sell THAT on Ebay.
You can create your own book by writing it yourself using any word processing program. When you're done, however, you will want to sell it in a format which will keep anyone from changing and reselling it. The best way to do this is to format your e-book as PDF (Adobe's Portable Document Format).
Now, to do this, you can either buy a full running program of Adobe's (major bucks) or download a utility which will allow you to create PDF Files from just about any program you have on your computer. This utility is called PDF995 and you can get it at PDF995.com (FREE). Follow the instructions to install and you can creat your PDF file by printing TO the PDF utility. I"ve done this a lot myself.
The next problem is to find a good layout and sell your book. I hope it works out for you well!
