Buying & Selling Thru Ebay & Other Auctions/selling and selecting categories

Question
I have number of items I need to sell on eBay.  I am trying to select a category on the first page but the box is blank...all that is listed is a red "x".  I just reformatted my entire harddrive and reinstalled all applications.  I don't know if this has anything to do with this problem.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you in advance for any comments.

Yes, this is an easy fix.  That section of the Sell Your Item page is created through Java Scripting.   When you formatted and reinstalled, you ended up with an old version of Java.  Go to http://java.sun.com and upgrade your Java, reboot and everything should be fine.
