I am looking for someone in my area who will sell a variety of my stuff on ebay for me for a commission -- someone who will photograph it, list it, monitor it, pack, mail the stuff and send me a check.  Do you have any suggestions as to how to find someone reliable who provides that service and what sort of cut they'd require?  I live near Thousand Oaks, CA.

There is a little known group of sellers on Ebay called Trading Assistants.  They will do just what you have asked.  Each one has their own rules, and their own charge of percentage.  As an example, I am a member of this group and I charge 35% of the gross. I know others who charge more, and some who charge less.  

Also keep in mind that just because you have "stuff" doesn't mean it will sell.  As a TA, I will list somethign twice, but if it doesn't sell, I still require the owner (that would be you) to pay all listing fees.
