Question
I had a photosmart 1100, great tool it had an envelope feeder, that was great.  It went bad...looking for another HP with envelope printing capabilites.  Most of the printers dont list envelopes as part of what they do.   What can you recommend to get my envelopes printed again.

Answer
Most MFPs or business class printers will feed envelopes through the normal paper track, and most basic printers are targetted at a value segment (if the ink or USB cable costs more than the printer, don't buy the printer) or photo printing (devices which are generally too expensive to operate for office tasks, like printing large documents, envelopes, etc (their inks are too expensive)).

Something like this should be fine:

You may have to define envelopes in the Windows print configuration (just select Paper Type, and find the size envelope you're using) to print to envelopes, however thats fairly standard for modern equipment (excepting very high end laser printers or MFPs).

Expertise

I have nearly two decades of experience in IT, computer repair, and related fields and will attempt to provide the most solid, brand-agnostic advice when it comes time to purchase a new computer, or upgrade an existing machine. I can answer anything from the seemingly basic to the downright complicated - and will do my best to provide this information in a clear and concise manner.

Experience

I have been an enthusiast of PC's for many years, and can answer questions about the purchase/use of a new computer or the purchase, installation, and use of upgrades for existing computers. There probably isn't a whole lot related to the home computer that I haven't seen over the years.
