QuestionHey there,
First thank you for taking your time to answer questions from gals as myself..
I've had for sometime my old computer from wrk..
It only had a hrd drive of 80G ( I think that's wht I want to say) I'm new at this computer knowledge stuff..
I don't do anything out of the norm on the computer..
Check email, bank online, google and that's the most..
I got a quote to build a computer for $428 and they included adding my old drive(1yr old) so I'll have two drives........... Intel products..
My motherboard went out in my other Intel computer..
My husband's frnd at wrk has an extra computer (Compaq) with Xp and a clean drive and all memory..
I hooked everything up lst night and seems fine..
But wanted to know how you rate the compaq or anything I shld know?
Please advise,
CC
AnswerHi CC,
In my experience, the computers with the highest failure rates are eMachine, Compaq, and HP - in that order. As far as performance, it all depends on what components were used to build them (motherboard, processor, RAM, hard drive, etc.) and those 3 brands can run faster than other brands if they have more powerful parts.
