Buying a computer system/Is a Netbook for me?

Question
I am thinking of buying a netbook.  I plan to use the computer for browsing the web and some very simple spreadsheet work.  I currently use dial up and know that I may need to purchase an additional modem. I have been looking as the Aspire Netbook...any suggestions?

Honestly, I would not suggest a netbook for spreadsheet usage, as the screen's low resolution and small size will likely make the work more tedious and time consuming than it is already. Processing power and compatability would not be an issue, so if the screen size is not a problem for you, there would not be an issue running the application, just know that you won't be able to view as much data at once.
