Answer
Hi Darlene,

If you do a Google search on `netbook reviews', the most popular (ACER, MSI, and Lenovo) will pop up.  The one I checked put ACER first.  All of them have the same Intel Atom processor and 1 GB of RAM (which you can upgrade), and full wireless internet capability.  The main physical difference is a 10" screen vs a 9" screen, but I have put them side by side and cannot tell them apart.  I do not forsee any major changes in them - they almost do it all now.

If you have a WalMart near you, you should be able to find an ACER for $300.  The best price I have found on line is an ACER for $260 - and a lot of them go almost to $500.  If you want to shop on line, do a Google search for "netbook deals" and see where it takes you.

You will also need an external DVD player.  Samsung makes a very nice one that you can buy at Geeks.com for about $60.

Enjoy your netbook.  I have a 10" Lenovo that is my favorite toy....
